Strategic Sales Executive—Oil & Gas Markets
Location: TX, CO, or Alberta, Canada
Summary: The Strategic Sales Executive position is a highly valued position within the organization responsible for driving new significant revenue opportunities from larger enterprise prospects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets set by EVP of Global Sales
- Territory or Vertical Industry based focus on and close fleets of 250 vehicles or more
- Identify and develop new business and clients through channels, networking and cold-calling
- Fundamental understanding of Oil & Gas Industry customers' business needs and apply knowledge of inthinc’s services to meet those needs
- Develop and execute inthinc strategic sales plan for each prospect/account
- Develop and Orchestrate a sales strategy for each prospect/account which requires approval and input from multiple constituents within a client organization
- Professionally present and demonstrate inthinc products and services
- Prepare winning bid proposals with value proposition and supporting literature
- Negotiate final contracts and pricing within inthinc standards
- Work with Account Executive and Project Manager to maximize sales opportunities with the new customer
- Manage sales cycle, quota, forecast and pipeline for your area of responsibility
- Maintain awareness and keep abreast of a constantly changing competitive marketplace and update internal resources (Marketing and Sales Team’s)
- Maintain and update NetSuite consistently
- Update reports as scheduled and attend internal meetings as requested
- Travel to accommodate work schedule while minimizing expense
Education | Experience:
- Minimum education: Bachelor degree, MBA preferred
- Minimum 7 Years Business to Business IT/Software strategic selling experience
Requirements:
- Demonstrable consistent overachievement in exceeding sales quota targets
- Demonstrable ability to “close” under challenging conditions
- Experience and knowledge of fleet market and/or telematics sector highly desirable
- Extensive personal business network within the Oil & Gas Industry highly desirable
- Quality relationship builder
- Credibility to strategically deal at the industry, corporate, executive and operational levels
- Strategic consultative solution sales approach
- Excellent listening skills
- Quality presentation skills
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional energetic attitude and appearance
- Independent competitive self starter
- Strong team player
